課程概述

本課程旨在介紹社會與行為科學的基本概念與理論，重心放在健康、疾病、以及健康相關的醫病溝通行為及醫療組織的社會學研究，為一門導論課程從深度與廣度而言，任何健康議題皆與行為有關，而行為的形塑又與社會脈絡有關。社會脈絡可以包括人際關係、家庭、工作團體、組織、社群、社區，以致於整個社會。由於相關的現象愈形錯綜複雜，因此也須要社會科學知識體系中的不同領域，由不同的角度與方法加以檢視，以瞭解問題的本質及形成機轉，而能從不同層次解決問題。

課程目標

培養學生認識重要社會與行為科學理論與概念，及其在健康與醫療上的應用，並能以此為基礎，探討當代健康議題。
修習本課程之後，學生能：
1. 瞭解健康的社會與行為科學的相關理論與概念
2. 掌握既有文獻對健康的社會、心理與行為決定因子的研究成果
3. 運用相關社會與行為科學的研究及理論概念來剖析當代健康議題，如兒童肥胖、青少年物質使用等議題，並提出政策介入的可能方向
